Meet Your Coach
Hi, I am Maria! I was born in Cuba and came to the US when I was 18 months old. My father at the time was a political prisoner in Cuba's communist regime and was not able to join my mother and I until years later.
After completing high school in Miami, Florida, I attended the University of Miami and thereafter obtained my law degree from the University of Miami School of Law. I pursued a career in the financial industry guiding US and cross-border, high net worth families with their wealth planning needs in the US.
In 2015, I transitioned from working in a large financial institution into an independent wealth advisor role and affiliated myself with Bolton Global Capital. For the last few years, I have been working on my succession plan in order to pursue a dream of helping others navigate change so that they too can achieve their dreams. In July 2020 as the pandemic changed how we lived and worked, I started iPEC’s Certified Coach Training Program, an ICF (International Coaching Federation) accredited coaching program. I earned my coaching certification and chose to work with women in transition to navigate change.
I am no stranger to transitions. Through the years, I navigated infertility, divorce, career changes and planning for retirement. What I learned is that surrounding yourself with positive energy is key while you undertake the personal work to get to where you want to go.
I have two adoptive children, two four-legged furry girls, and am happily married to my second husband. I enjoy spending time with family and traveling. I am a member of the Florida Bar, ICF, and hold the following degrees and certifications.
Bachelor's Degree in Sociology
Juris Doctor

Energy Leadership Index - Master Practitioner (iPEC)
